Poppies Corp. - Investor/Lender Partnerships When it comes to risk and reward, many extremely sophisticated investors look for opportunities to diversify their investments. They prefer opportunities in which they become a private lender and can receive a set minimum monthly income by lending the funds for a project. In an Investor/Lender Partnership, the investor assumes both roles and receives interest for providing the loan funds, plus they are also positioned as an equity partner and receive a share of the profits generated by the project. The amount of interest paid to a private lender and the percentage of profits received in the role of equity partner is very project specific. But like all real estate investments, the “risk/reward” formula normally dictates the return. The lower the risk an investor takes; the lower the return or reward they receive. Higher risk investment positions have the opportunity to get higher rewards. All returns are, of course, dependant upon the project and its’ individual level of success.
